Itinerary
DAY 1 : December 21, Saturday
ARRIVAL AT KOLKATA AND TRANSFER TO SUNDARBANS, Gosaba- Heritage site visits & Village Walk
Arrive at Kolkata Airport and head to Godkhali Ferry Ghat. Our on ground assistants will be with you all the way from the airport.
A short boat cruise will take you to Gosaba where you can visit Beacon Bungalow and Hamilton Sahib Bungalow on the way to your resort . Welcome drinks, tea/coffee will be served on the boat.
On reaching the resort you can freshen up and enjoy your delicious lunch. Post lunch, you can walk around to nearby villages to interact with the local people and understand their culture, way of life and tradition.
When you return back to Resort, local artists will greet you with a a colourful & cheerful performance while you enjoy your evening tea / coffee and snacks.
Spend the evening at leisure and retire for the night post a sumptuous dinner.
DAY 2 : December 22, Sunday
One Full Day Of Boat Safari & Forest Walk
Start your boat safari into the dense mangrove of the delta. Breakfast may be served on boat or at resort depending on safari start time.
Head to Sajnekhali Tiger Project area & Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower for viewing of Wild Animals / Crocodile project / Museum and Watch Tower.
From there the thrilling boat cruise will take you through dense forest for Dobanki Watch Tower where you can enjoy the canopy walk inside the forest.
Lunch will be served on the boat.
Head back to the resort in the evening in time for some snacks. Indulge in outdoor activities and retire for the night post dinner.
DAY 3 : December 23, Monday
Full day boat safari, Panchamukhani, Cultural program
Today will be similar to Day 2 but today the boat will take you to on a journey through Matla river you can reach Neti Dhopani Watch Tower via Panchamukhani (Five River junctions).
On your return to the resort in the evening, after a full day of safari, we will have a session to discuss all of our sightings and experiences.
A cultural Program will be arranged for your entertainment followed by Evening Tea / Coffee with Snacks. Post dinner, retire for the night.
DAY 4 : December 24, Tuesday
Sundarban to Airport
Morning tea or coffee and breakfast will be served at resort.
Check out for the Airport. A thrilling aoat cruise through narrow winding creeks and rivers will take us to Godkhali Ferry Ghat. Packed lunch will be served on the boat.
Reach Kolkata airport and head home with wonderful memories of Sundarbans.
